Dirty Birdbaths???
Try filling it with fresh water and add 7-8 stems of lavender with a couple of daylilly leaves. This will keep your birdbath algae free for two to three weeks. The chemical released by the lavender won't kill any algae already growing, but it will prevent new growth from starting. Easy Disinfection!! Sterilizing your pruners between cuts is an easy way to keep your plants healthy and disease-free. Try wiping them with Clorox wipes. This is much easier and less messy than dipping them in Clorox and water! Keep an eye out for our Container Gardening Section! Customer Testimonials
I bought a home last summer on Smith Mountain Lake which had a great foundation of plantings, but had been neglected for years. Kim & Curtis were recommended to me by a contractor doing some deck work for me. In a short time, they turned the grounds of my new home from nice into a showplace. They worked tirelessly pruning, removing dead or overcrowded plants/shrubs, adding new plantings for variety, and re-mulching. In addition, they built a beautiful stone walkway and a gorgeous pond with a waterfall. They turned a tired landscaping scheme into our own private park. ~Mike Russell My wife & I run an art gallery out of our home and we were desperately needing some life added to the property. Curtis & Kim put in two planting beds with stone edging and a paver patio style entrance. It has greatly improved the look of our business and we have received many compliments from our customers. ~Lyn & Betty Atkins GOT BUGS ?? |
